We're happy to announce that we are currently working on the third season of the travel show Madventures. The guys at GimmeYaWallet Productions contacted Lauri Warsta of Las Palmas Films about creative direction for the upcoming third season. Producer Jari Lähteinen had previously worked with Lauri on the Magyar Posse music video and asked him to be responsible for the whole look of the series including graphics, title sequence and color grading. Lauri then contacted Piñata for co-operation in making the whole package of ten new half-hour episodes happen.
As you know, we at Piñata are big believers in close-range team work and since Lauri had September off before starting his studies at the Royal College of Arts, we cleared a desk for him at our studio and started working on the core graphical elements for the show under his direction. Since even GimmeYaWallet Productions is located in the same block with our studio, working together on the project is pretty much as uncomplicated as it gets.

The third season of Madventures is the first Finnish TV-show to be sold to international distribution prior to it's production. The show will be broadcast in the United States by Travel Channel and in UK by Channel Five's Fiver. The world premiere still stays in Finland and takes place on Sub in March 2009. We'll be working on the show on and off for the next six months or so and will definitely show some stuff as soon as it becomes public.
